Anatomy lesson: the raphe

The raphe (pronounced RAY-fee) is the seam-like line or ridge that extends from the anus through the mid-line of the perineum and scrotum and upwards through the ventral mid-line aspect of the penis.

In an uncircumcised man, the raphe runs to the tip of the foreskin.
